	October 1st, 2005 IMPORTANT NOTICE TO ALL CPBA MEMBERS In continuing to find better ways to service your insurance needs, the CPBA have made two decisions to improve the program offered, to ensure you have the best coverage and service possible. First, the CPBA and McFarlane Agencies (1967) Ltd. have arranged for Commercial and Home Insurance with ING Novex. ING Novex is the Group division of ING Canada, currently the largest insurer in Canada. ING Novex specialize in Group Insurance plans designed for the Group members and offers you discounted rates from the normal market place. Second, the CPBA has asked McFarlane Agencies (1967) Ltd. to take over all the administration for both the personal and commercial insurance products currently offered by the CPBA to all Pharmacists in Alberta. In doing so, the CPBA will now only administer the Personal Malpractice Insurance through the offices of Dion Durrell (a consulting firm hired by the CPBA). What does this mean for the Pharmacists of Alberta? Simply put, better coverage, better service and more control over your insurance policies. You now have instant access to other great products on automobile insurance, life and disability insurance, group insurance for your family and employees, travel insurance and even financial family planning, all through McFarlane Agencies (1967) Ltd.	In addition, you no longer have to a member of any association to qualify for any of these great products. The only requirement is that you, or a member of your family is a Pharmacist in Alberta. McFarlane Agencies (1967) Ltd. has serviced the insurance products offered by the CPBA for the past five years. During that time, all billing issues were looked after by the CPBA directly. With this new change, the CPBA will no longer look after your billing. ING Novex will now offer all billing options via McFarlane Agencies (1967) Ltd. If you do not want to pay your account in full, you have the option to pay monthly or even on your credit card to name a few (please call for more details).
